- The title of the episode is based on the title of the 1984 Colin Baker story The Twin Dilemma.
- Andrew's brother-in- law was deliberately named Rob to keep up the tradition of naming male
characters with the same names as our actors. It's also why Steph's brother (seen in Dinner With
Monsters) is named Matt.
- It was originally planned to use the Ianto Jones shrine at the end of The Woman Who Loved
but, due to scheduling issues, that was unable to happen. Luckily, it was able to be used for this
episode.
- Executive producer Terrance Edwards has an uncredited cameo as the voice of the manager at the end of the episode.
