Production Update: November 2018

It has been a busy few months at Watchers, both filming and personal lives. First of all a massive Congratulations to Terrance Edwards on his marriage at the start of September.

With this happy event in our calendar we took a few weeks break - but it hasn't slowed things down to be honest!!

Both of our current projects have been filming over the last few months.

For Sketchy AF, the YouTube Comedy channel, we have had two shoots happen, filming a number of our mini comedy sketches.

Back in August we had Richard Williams direct a fantastic cast on one day: Amy Rowlands, Ben Wilson,

Chis Maxwell Howell, Andrew Ford, and Rob Murphy. A day of fun and laughter with some new faces and original faces from the pilot made last year.

We filmed at the start of November a number of sketches revolving around Jingle Radio Adverts, written by Matthew Ford and directed by Rhys Jones. We managed to get together- and we mean managed to! (this cast was tough to get together as they are all busy in their own right!)- Victoria George-Veale, AJ King and Shaz Lancaster.

The first episodes of Sketchy AF will go online in January 2019.

Strange Tales.

Firstly, THANK YOU to all those who generously gave a donation towards the production of these short films. I can confirm we are on track towards the goal of all eight being completed.

So far..... we have completed filming on one of them, Human Resources, written and directed by Richard Williams, starring Ellen Jane-Thomas, James Morgan and Justine Jones. The film was shot on two weekends in August.

Filming this month is Brand New Beginnings, written by Matthew Ford and sirected by Matthew Fisher. We are halfway through filming this and so far so good. It is going brilliantly and we look forward to the final day shooting this.

Another two films have been cast and are currently in pre-production, these are to be directed by Luke Walters and Teddy Smith. The other four are all in development to be filmed in the early part of 2019.

Strange Tales will launch in the Summer of 2019!

So that's what we have been up to the last few months and we look forward to launching Sketchy AF in the New Year.
