STRANGE TALES: Human Resources


So, as we build up to the launch of Strange Tales, we'll be detailing the first eight films that will made.

As you know, three are being launched on June 15th and you've already got a look at Brand New Beginnings.

The second film to be launched on June 15th is...

HUMAN RESOURCES

Sam is a young but high flying business executive, she's popular with her co workers and has the world at her feet. During a meeting with the mysterious Noah from Human Resources, everything she thought she knew about the world around her, is thrown into doubt.

Human Resources was written and directed by Richard Williams

In 2014 Richard began script writing, this started with the world war epic The King's Own. Realising his passion for script writing he went on to do it full after being made redundant from his day job in 2015. Since then he has gone on to write and direct several projects including short films and documentaries. in 2017 his western genre screenplay The Reckoning was nominated as Best Dramatic Screenplay at the American Screenwriters Conference in California.

Ellen Jane Thomas plays Sam. She is an actress with TV presenting and directing credits under her belt, having worked with BBC Wales and Made Television in these fields. But her first love is performance, experiencing working with Channel 4, National Theatre Wales and BBC Two Wales. Ellen won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the It's My Shout awards in 2017 for her role as Tanvi in Rory Romantic, and can currently be seen online in BBC Writersroom sketch Porta-LOLS.

Noah is played by James Morgan. He started acting at a young age and has appeared in television, film and theatre. His TV and film credits include The Indian Doctor, 24: Live Another Day and Hunky Dory. His theatre productions include such as Of Mice and Men, Bouncers, and I Could Have Been An Astronaut If It Wasn’t For Malachy McAleer.

Rebecca Donovan Morgan, who plays Melanie, is a Swansea based actress best known for her roles in Sky One's Trollied, Hearts At War, A Day For Kelly and most recently Murder By The Sea and Voice Of A Killer which will be aired on CBS Reality. Rounding off the cast as Marcy is Justine Jones.

Human Resources was the first of the Strange Tales to be made, and we can't wait to show you this thrilling tale.
