Goodbye 2019 & 2020 here we come!

Updated: Jan 30, 2020

We have begun a new year and we are off and running!

Looking back on 2019, we had a very big and busy year. We started the year off releasing 9 new episodes of the Comedy Sketch web series Sketchy AF.

We then jumped on various short films in order so we could launch Strange Tales in June. In January we finished off filming Brand New Beginnings, Directed by Matthew Fisher. Second Chances went in front of the cameras the start of February Directed by Teddy Smith.

Strange Tales launched June 15th with the first of three films produced for it.

Strange Tales is a series of short, stand-alone films which have a twist in the tale.

The Channel is a showcase for the talent involved, while promoting low-budget filmmaking in South Wales. We launched with Human Resources Directed by Richard Williams, Brand New Beginnings and Second Chances.

We produced a further four films in 2019 - starting in June with Home Written & Directed by Terrance Marshman-Edwards. Which was released right at the end of 2019 on December 31st.

Epimetheus was a last minute green light, when we decided last minute to start doing Halloween special Strange Tales - which we will continue to do. It was filmed in August, then it was quickly released in October.

Schrodinger was filmed one weekend in September. Stars Victoria George-Veale and Gavin Rand, written by Xander Grant and Directed by Rhys Jones. It is in the hands of the editor as we type!

The final film we shot in 2019 was the bulk of Deliver Us From Gee which we have now wrapped up with a final shoot in January of 2020. We are very excited about this project for a number of reasons, but one is of course getting to work with and have in the film, Gareth David Lloyd.

That is pretty much the busiest year we have had since we completed Whovains back in 2016 - 2020 mind looks to be even busier for us!!

We have at present 6 Strange Tales in different stages of pre-production with further being discussed at this time. We have confirmed the release of Schrodinger in February and Deliver Us From Gee at Easter. More on the Strange Tales as we progress.

We will be activley looking towards our in development feature film - Universe PLC, which Deliver Us From Gee is a preqeul to. We are extremely excited about this year ahead - also we are very proud of what has been accomplished in 2019.

We would like to once again whole hearted say a massive THANK YOU to all our volunteers - both in front, behind and after the camera rolls. Without there passion we wouldnt be able to get done what we have. So heres to you all, to the ventures of 2019 and on to the year ahead.

Terrance, Matthew & Rhys
